It's been a great running week! Hill training began, folks, don't do this without friends. Good friends. Friends you can laugh with, scream at, puke with....ok, we try to minimize that! A good diversion is to teach one of your group to spit (I did it!!). Thanks friends.
A few other short and wet runs this week too, dodging cold puddles covered with a thin sheet of ice is the name of the game for the next while I suspect. Get used to taking your inner soles out to dry between runs!
I ventured out on my own this morning and it was good.....used to think I was such a 'pure' outside runner, just out there for the fresh air. But let me say there is nothing wrong with getting a little help up the Tim Horton's hill by Mick Jagger......never stop, never stop, never, never never never"!! (yes that was me doing a little air drumming)!
Happy trails everyone!
